The Catholic Public Domain Version (CPDV) translates the Bible from the Latin Vulgate into English. This translation, prepared and edited by Catholic writer Ronald L. Conte Jr., uses the Challoner Douay-Rheims version for guidance when translating the Latin Vulgate edition by Popes Sixtus V and Clement VIII.
